privacy.
This is a plain-language draft. It is not yet reviewed by counsel and will be replaced before public launch.
what we collect from owners
Your email (to sign you in), your handle and the page content you create, your recordings, and standard security logs (IP address and browser type) kept for a short period to prevent abuse.
what we collect from senders
The audio you record, the audience choice you make, an optional nickname or clue you volunteer, and short-lived security metadata. If you are signed in and choose anonymous, the page owner never sees your account. A restricted internal link may be kept briefly for abuse handling only.
what owners see
Owners see the recording, the display label you chose, any clue you volunteered, and aggregate page statistics. They do not see your email, IP address, device details or location.
analytics
We count page views, plays and link clicks in aggregate. We do not build cross-site profiles or fingerprints. Small cohorts are hidden so individuals can't be singled out.
storage and deletion
Audio is stored privately and served only through access-checked routes. Deleting a voicemail or account removes the audio, except where a pending abuse report requires temporary restricted retention.
